Iterate was tasked with performing an analysis on Doran’s AdWords account to assess whether there were any excess expenditures in their ad budget that could either be redistributed or eliminated altogether.

Goal

 
Iterate was tasked with performing an analysis on Doran’s AdWords account to assess whether there were any excess expenditures in their ad budget that could either be redistributed or eliminated altogether. Iterate was also responsible for maintaining and/ or increasing the amount of quality traffic to the site, and reducing their CPA, while maintaining the company’s baseline level of conversions and CPC. In addition, all work was to be done within an existing budget.

 

Results

 
Over the course of 6 months, Iterate was able to optimize Doran’s AdWords account cutting the overall budget by 50% without decreasing the amount of conversions, but lowered the overall CPA by 75%. This cutting of excess throughout the account was accomplished through detailed adjustments such as negative keyword elimination and geographical targeting, and had very positive results overall enabling Doran to get the most out of their ad budget. Doran has maintained their conversion rate and CPA to this day Iterate predicts that the account will continue to deli er very consistent results on a month-by=month basis with our continued management.
